ASML, Samsung Ink 700-mn-euro Deal To Build Korean Research Plant


Dutch tech giant ASML and Korean electronics firm Samsung announced Tuesday they would together provide roughly 700 million euros to build and equip a high-tech research facility in Korea.

The pair agreed to “jointly in the future” invest in the facility that would “develop cutting-edge semiconductor processing technology using next-generation EUV (extreme ultraviolet) equipment.”
