FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — Salon Professional Academy holds a bake sale and garage sale to raise funds for one of their students to pay for her medical expenses.
An instructor from the academy came up with the idea to raise funds after Diamond Williams after her previous Go-Fund-Me page was taken down.
Williams was in an accident where she was run over three times by a vehicle.
She was unable to walk for a month and was wheelchair-bound at home.
But as weeks went on, she was able to go through physical therapy and walk again.
“Honestly, I thank God. I’m really really happy like from what peoples was telling me I wasn’t supposed to be here to be honest. Like, that’s how bad it was,” said Diamond Williams.
Williams will graduate from the academy tomorrow and hopes to one day open her own salon.
