The second coming of the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Euro’ is upon us

2018 was a golden era for the sneakerverse. In addition to the Nike React Element 87 and the Yeezy Boost 700, we were also blessed with elusive collabs like the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Euro.’

Released one year after the Off-White x Nike ‘The Ten’ collection, it was nowhere near as hyped as the legendary ‘Chicago’ (which, let’s face it, is probably the GOAT). But the ‘Euro’ was still something special. Because while all of Virgil Abloh‘s other shoes were available worldwide, this one was made exclusively for Europe, hence the name.

When the ‘Euro’ was first announced, trainer guys in the U.S. and Asia were panic-calling their plugs just to get their hands on a pair. StockX data from back then shows that some of you were paying up to 3 Gs for them. And even though they’ve been around for about seven years now, people are still spending up to £6,000 for a pair. But £6,000 is a lot of cash, and if you’d rather not remortgage your condo or spend your kid’s uni fees on them, you’ll be glad to hear that they’re finally re-releasing.

Dripped out in ‘White’ leather and suede, like all of Off-White’s sneakers, this one is decorated with all kinds of deconstructed details. The upper has been specifically designed to look like it’s been turned inside-out. The Nike Swoosh is attached with bright blue stitching. The tongue is lined with exposed foam. The collar panels are left unattached. And yes, the Milanese streetwear label’s signature zip-tie is also back. It’s basically a like-for-like remake of the OG, but… there’s a twist.
