Atalanta has stepped up its transfer market activity in a bid to strengthen its forward line ahead of the summer window’s closure.
The Bergamo-based club is targeting a striker who can serve as a focal point in attack, with 24-year-old Brazilian forward Rodrigo Muniz emerging as the leading candidate to spearhead the team’s offense.

According to journalist Nicolò Schira, negotiations with Fulham are at an advanced stage, with the deal expected to be worth around €40 million.
The investment underscores La Dea’s ambition to secure a player capable of making a decisive impact in the final third and delivering consistent goals.
The agreement would see Muniz sign a contract through 2029, with an option to extend for an additional year, ensuring long-term stability in a key position.
With this move, Atalanta aims to bolster its squad to compete at the highest level in both Serie A and European competitions, banking on the Brazilian’s ability to adapt quickly to his new surroundings.
