A Grafton home is drawing plenty of spooky-season visitors and helping cats in need along the way.
Homeowner Tammy Lettieri has turned her yard into a Halloween spectacle to raise funds for Weirdo Cat Lovers of Cleveland, a nonprofit rescue group dedicated to helping stray and injured cats.

“We recently moved here in December, but I’ve done this kind of display for years,” Lettieri said. “Last year was the first time I decided to make it a fundraiser for Weirdo Cat Lovers, and it was such a success that I wanted to do it again.”
Lettieri promotes her display through local Facebook and Halloween enthusiast groups, inviting visitors to stop by, snap photos and make donations to support the cause.

Every dollar collected goes toward veterinary care and medical costs for cats rescued by the nonprofit, she said.
“They’re a donation-funded organizations,” Lettieri said. “Each case can easily cost around $1,200 in vet expenses, and it adds up fast.
“This is my way of helping.”
The festive display, which she said takes about two weeks to assemble, features skeletons, lights and other spooky decorations that have caught the attention of neighbors and passersby.

Lettieri said she’s noticed families walking by in the evenings and youngsters stopping by to admire the setup.
“It’s always been about bringing joy to people,” she said. “Whether it’s kids getting excited for Halloween, or adults remembering what it was like when they were younger, it’s just something positive to share with the community.”
