Today, ahead of an incredible summer of sport at the Uefa Women’s EURO 2025TM, adidas unveils the new collection of performance away kits created exclusively for the Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Wales women’s national teams, as they prepare to compete on the biggest stage in international European football.

Built to stand out on the pitch and in the stands, adidas designers took inspiration from the prominent artistic styles that give each nation their own unique cultural identities – from the realism and expressionism of Renaissance Italy to the graffiti street art that adorns modern German cities – to create contemporary fashion-forward aesthetics that bridge the gap between the past and the present.

Sam Handy, GM of Football at adidas said: “The importance of the jersey cannot be understated – in both football and culture – it represents hope, passion, and a collective sense of unity that connects a nation ahead of a major tournament. For Uefa Women’s EURO 2025TM, we focused our efforts on delivering performance-first kits, with contemporary designs that connect players and fans to the core visual DNA of each nation. We can’t wait to see these designs stand out on pitch and in the stands in Switzerland, this summer.”

The biggest tournaments bring immense pressure to competitors. To help athletes disarm this pressure, the kits are built with performance at their core, incorporating either HEAT.RDY technology – optimized to keep players feeling comfortable, or AEROREADY technology – using sweat-wicking or absorbent materials that keep players feeling dry. Lighter crests and additional mesh panels are also applied, helping improve airflow and comfort, to help players focus on the game.

FEDERATION AWAY KIT DESIGN DETAILS:

Belgium

Inspired by the abstract geometric patterns that emerged in Belgian art from the 1920s onwards, the design sees a striking yellow, red and orange modern interpretation of the traditional RBFA red flame – a symbol synonymous with this great nation. The look is completed with a ‘Belgium’ sign-off on the neck incorporating a matching flame graphic.

Germany

Germany’s away kit celebrates the rich street art scene found across the country. Striking lines in varying shades of red and pink are applied in a modern graffiti style, embodying the vibrant murals found across the heart of these cosmopolitan cities. A yellow ‘Deutschland’ neck sign-off – in a spray paint style – adds to the design.

Italy

Italy’s jersey takes design inspiration from the Realism and Naturalism movements associated with the Renaissance period, as artists became increasingly interested in the realistic depiction of natural objects. In this case, differing shades of mint green reveal life-like vine branches, that run across the front and back of the shirt – completed by an ‘Italia’ neck sign-off.

Spain

Spain’s design is rooted in the Cubism movement of the 20th century – famous for creating abstract visuals by breaking up the component parts of a subject and reassembling them in an abstract form. Pink and grey geometric shapes punctuate an off-white base, to represent a bold new era for Spain Women’s national team.

Sweden

This eye-catching design champions pioneering artists whose groundbreaking work pushed boundaries and challenged traditional narratives. Incorporating an abstract blue graphic fading out from dark to light, the visual is a homage to some of the earliest known forms of Swedish Abstract Expressionism.

Wales

Influenced by the appearance of the traditional Welsh Love Spoon – an ancient symbol of loyalty and togetherness – the Welsh away kit features intersecting wavy lines which mimic the shape of the spoon’s structure, created using lighter and darker hues of mist green. While in contrast, a red “Gorau Chwarae Cyd Chwarae” motif sign-off, stands out on the neck.

Alongside the Uefa Women’s EURO 2025TM away kit collection, partner teams Scotland and Northern Ireland also receive refreshed away kit designs which will be worn throughout the 2025 international season. The Scotland away jersey takes its colour inspiration from the Primrose and Pink colours traditionally worn in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, while the Northern Ireland away shirt pays homage to ‘The Dark Hedges’ in County Antrim; a stunning avenue of beach trees intertwined, creating a dramatic tunnel-like effect.

The newly revealed federation kits are just one example of how adidas shows up for fans and supports its athletes on the biggest stage. As proud partners of Uefa for several decades, adidas will also provide the official match ball for the Uefa Women’s EURO 2025TM – KONEKTIS – bringing Connected Ball Technology to the tournament for the first time.

For the first time, all 2025 federation away kits are available in men’s, women’s and youth sizes, which can be purchased today, from select retail stores and at www.adidas.co.za/soccer-jerseys
