England beat Netherlands to make it through to Euro U21 final

England started the game strongly and were the dominant side throughout the match, with Liverpool’s Harvey Elliott twice denied by the Netherland goalkeeper in the first fifteen minutes of the game.

With the score goalless at half-time, it was Elliott who drove forward and fired England into the lead in the second half.

With help from Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson, Elliott blasted the ball past the Netherlands goalkeeper with a fine finish in the 62nd minute.

However, the Netherlands levelled the score just ten minutes later, through their striker Noah Ohio.

But Harvey Elliott wasn’t finished yet, and had the final say when he drilled low into the right corner from the edge of the box, five minutes before full time.
