Prime minister Keir Starmer is at St. Jakob-Park tonight cheering on England.
When asked for his message to Sarina Wiegman’s side, he told BBC Sport: “My message is good luck. That is said on my behalf as prime minister but also on behalf of millions of people back home who will be tuning
in and absolutely rooting for them.
“I had the great privilege of seeing them
train three or four weeks ago just before they set off and the journey they
have been on to this final has been incredible with mental resilience and
physical resilience.
“There is absolutely no reason now they can’t go on and win
this now, so good luck.”
