The Detective Conan: Hyaku-man Dollar no Michishirube anime movie, which debuts in Japanese theaters on April 12, has received a two-minute pre-release trailer with plenty of sword action.
Detective Conan: Hyaku-man Dollar no Michishirube is the 27th Detective Conan movie and will feature Kaito Kid and Heiji Hattori. The plot involves a katana concealing a “‘truth,’” and a “decisive” scramble for a treasure.
The Detective Conan manga by Goushou Aoyama, titled Case Closed by Viz Media, started serialization in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday in 1994 and has 104 tankoubon volumes as of October 2023. The TV anime adaptation started airing in 1996, with the first anime film arriving in 1997.
