Is the Warren Buffett Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge happening this year?
Bracket challenges are starting to roll out with the NCAA Tournament about to start. So, is the famed Warren Buffett Billion Dollar Bracket Challenge happening this year?
For now, the answer is uncertain as Buffett has not yet announced if his contest is happening in 2025.
In recent years, Buffett has limited his bracket challenge to his employees at Berkshire Hathaway.
Due to it being pretty much mathematically impossible to fill out a perfect bracket, Buffett has made winning prize money in his pool a little more attainable.
Berkshire Hathaway has said it would award $100,000 to an employee who picked the most games correctly before an incorrect pick. If an employee picked every first round game correctly, they would win $1 million.
Buffett has only gone public with his bracket challenge once. That came in 2014, and — you guessed it — no one emerged with a perfect bracket.
