Local law enforcement is seeking information on a robbery that occurred at the Dollar General Store in Chalybeate, located on HWY 101 on Friday, December 8th.
Local law enforcement is seeking information on a robbery that occurred at the Dollar General Store in Chalybeate, located on HWY 101 on Friday, December 8th.
According to the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office, officers were requested to respond to the Dollar Store at approximately 8:46PM to the report of a robbery. The sheriff’s office stated that an unknown white male, who appeared to be unarmed walked into the store and handed the cashier a note, demanding an unknown amount of cash. The male subject then left the store in an unknown direction, the sheriff’s office said.
Officers said they are currently working with the corporate office to acquire better video footage of the incident.
