LBC holds training workshop on entering global markets through Euro-Med Support Platform

The Libyan Business Council (LBC) announced last Monday (21 October) that it began, in cooperation with the Tripoli based Ministry of Economy and Trade’s Private Sector Development Department, a training workshop on entering global markets through the Euro-Mediterranean (Euro-Med) Support Platform.

‎The LBC said the course aims to train business owners and their teams on the use of the Euro-Med platform to facilitate the export of their products to European markets, to know the procedures and market trends, and to obtain the necessary data and commercial information.‎

‎It added that it is noteworthy that Libya is still outside the Euro-Mediterranean agreement, despite its importance in terms of reducing the costs of Libyan exports to European markets, and the LBC is currently working to join this agreement, like the rest of the countries of the region. ‎

‎This workshop lasted for two days at the LBC’s headquarters and come within the LBC’s plans for training and capacity raising for the private sector.‎

‎The LBC revealed that it will also organize 23 workshops in person or remotely during the year 2024-25, which are open to all those interested in the business and projects sector, and their dates will be announced next week.‎
