Firefighters from Riverside, Beavercreek, Butler Twp. and Huber Heights fire departments were called to assist with the fire, the dispatcher said.
Crews remained on scene as of 12:50 p.m. to take care of flareups if they occur, according to the dispatcher.
According to posts on social media, nearby businesses in the same shopping plaza were possibly affected. Las Margaritas, a Mexican bar and grill at 5526 Airway Road, posted on Facebook just before 9:30 a.m. Sunday, saying “It’s heartbreaking to see our restaurant get damaged. There’s been a fire going on since early this morning in the shopping plaza we’re located. Please keep us in your thoughts.”
No other information about the fire was immediately available.
