Three north Wales venues have been confirmed to host Uefa U19 Euro elite round games in March 2025.
In their opener, Chris Gunter’s Wales take on England at Bangor City Stadium on Wednesday, 19 March (19:00 GMT).
Wales then face Portugal at Rhyl’s Hops & Barley Community Stadium on Saturday, 22 March (17:00 GMT) before taking on Turkey at the same venue on Tuesday, 25 March (19:00 GMT).
Gunter’s squad is likely to include a number of Wales players from the nation’s 2023 Uefa U17 Euro finals contingent.
Gunter said: “It’s going to be a great experience for our players to be playing at this stage in the elite rounds.
“They deserve this opportunity from the results in November and to play in front of our own fans.
“We have an exciting group of players involved that have the aim to represent our national team in years to come, and I’m excited to see the fans in north Wales come out in their numbers and support us.”
