BRANSON, Mo. — Silver Dollar City (SDC) has announced a partnership with O’Reilly Auto Parts to bring what they say is the nation’s first theme park transit department.
Starting this year, there will be three types of themed vehicles that will transport visitors to the front gate of the park for free from their personal vehicles: the Stagecoach, the Carriage and the Welcome Wagon.
SDC says these new transportation options will further enhance the park’s theme of an 1880s mining village and add a touch of pioneer spirit to the park.

“This is more than a sponsorship, it’s a partnership between two brands rooted in the Ozarks,” says Brad Thomas, President of Silver Dollar City Parks & Resorts, in a news release. “Just as O’Reilly Auto Parts has served generations of families with reliability and care, Silver Dollar City has welcomed millions with hospitality rooted in tradition. Together, we’re creating a one-of-a-kind way for guests to begin their adventure the moment they step onto our transit vehicles.”

Silver Dollar City collaborated with O’Reilly Auto Parts for their deep ties to the Ozarks and its customers, as the company is headquartered in Springfield, according to the park. O’Reilly Auto Parts’ O’Rewards members will also receive offers from Silver Dollar City in about a week.
“Silver Dollar City is a beloved part of the Ozarks, and like us, they believe in delivering excellent customer service,” says Hugo Sanchez, Vice President of O’Reilly Auto Parts Advertising and Marketing. “We’re excited to help guests begin their day at the park with a ride that’s as special as the memories they’ll make inside.”
