The UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 will have more prize money than ever before. UEFA has announced the total prize pool will be €41 million, more than double what was offered in 2022.

So Spain, England, France and others will earn more based on how far they go in the competition.
How Much Can Teams Win?
All 16 teams that qualify for the final tournament in Switzerland will get €1.8 million just for taking part. On top of that they’ll earn more based on their results.
Each group stage win is worth €100,000. A draw is worth €50,000. If a team makes it to the quarter-finals they’ll get €550,000. Reaching the semi-finals gets you €700,000. The team that finishes second in the final gets €850,000. The winners get an extra €1.75 million.

What About Spain and England?
Spain, the current world champions, can earn the full €5.1 million if they win all their games. England, who won the last Women’s Euro in 2022, can also get aroud €5 million , because they lost one Group match.
Players Will Get a Share

For the first time UEFA is making sure players get a fair share of the prize money. Each national team must give 30 to 40% of their total prize money to the players. Teams that reach the knockout rounds must give at least 35%.

So if England win about €5 million the players will split between €1.75 million and €2 million. With 23 players in the squad that’s €56,000 to €75,000 per player. Same for Spain if they win.
This is a big change from the past when it was up to each country to decide how much players got, if any.
Clubs Get Paid Too
Clubs that allow their players to join their national teams will also get money from UEFA. The Club Benefits Programme has doubled, from €4.5 million in 2022 to €9 million in 2025. Each club will get €985 for every day one of their players is away at the tournament.
This includes training and travel days. A club could get between €19,000 and €36,000 per player depending on how long they stay in the competition.
