Along with its results, the board will also consider the authorisation of the offer document for issuance of Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) in one or more tranches on a private placement basis. This will be done under the overall borrowing limit of ₹1.5 lakh crore, as approved by the company’s shareholders on June 6 last year.
Bajaj Housing Finance had shared its provisional business update for the quarter earlier this month, where its Assets Under Management (AUM) grew by 26% from last year to ₹1.08 lakh crore. At the same time in December 2023, the company’s AUM stood at ₹85,929 crore.
The company’s loan assets also stood at nearly ₹95,550 crore at the end of the December quarter, as compared to ₹73,197 crore at the end of the same quarter last year.
Bajaj Housing Finance was one of the most successful listings of 2024, having listed at a premium of over 100% in comparison to its issue price of ₹70. However, the stock has been in correction mode since then, after having made a post-listing high of ₹188.
Shares of Bajaj Housing Finance ended 0.8% lower on Friday at ₹109, implying a 42% fall from its post-listing high. The stock still remains above its IPO price of ₹70.
