About Cadillac Escalade

The 2026 Cadillac Escalade follows the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade, with the biggest change being the introduction of trim level name changes.

The base “Luxury” trim has been renamed simply as “Escalade,” while the “Premium Luxury” trim has been renamed “Luxury.” Moving up the list, the “Sport” trim is once again called “Sport” for 2026, while the “Premium Luxury Platinum” and “Premium Sport Platinum” become “Platinum Luxury” and “Platinum Sport,” respectively. Finally, the high-performance “Escalade-V” remains unchanged.

While the 2026 Escalade was expected to get the GM Key Card technology, it won’t, after all. It does get this running board availability change, and a longer SiriusXM trial.

Notably, the standard-length Escalade has an overall length of 211.9 inches, and the extended-length Escalade ESV stretches to 227 inches.

Powertrain options include the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine as standard, while the supercharged 6.2L V8 LT4 gasoline engine is standard for the Escalade-V. The 3.0L I6 LM2 turbodiesel Duramax engine option is no longer offered, as GM Authority was the first to report, and here’s why. The 2025 Escalade can tow up to 7,200 pounds.

Pricing for the 2026 Escalade shows it up anywhere from $400 to $2,200 depending on trim. These prices include the destination freight charge (DFC) that increased on the 2025 Cadillac Escalade to $2,595, and remains the same for the 2026 model year. Here is pricing with options and packages.
