RENOVO — Bucktail Medical Center recently received a $7,600.00 check from Clinton County Government by way of a grant from the PA Rural Health Initiative. The funds can be used for supplies and other medical protection items.
In 2022, Clinton County Government was awarded $120,000.00 from the Office of PA Rural Health to combat and mitigate the COVID19 pandemic. A subcommittee was formed from the County’s Coalition and the committee worked to distribute funds throughout the community with guidance from the Penn State Rural Health Office.
Clinton County Commissioner, Angela Harding presented members of the board and staff with the check. “We appreciate all that you are doing for Bucktail Medical Center and hope that this will help offset some expense and debt” said Harding. Harding also thanked all who served on the subcommittee including Beth Whitty from the Clinton County Planning office.
Board President, John Lugg thanked the Rural Health Subcommittee for the grant designation and said that every little bit helps keep Bucktail available to the community.
