CHEYENNE, Wyo. — Cheyenne will pass through more than $1.74 million of American Rescue Plan Federal Recovery Funds to fund a $2 million bid for a Pronghorn Crossing Site infrastructure project in city limits. The project is being done near Storey Boulevard.
S & S Builders LLC submitted the low bid of $2,039,808, beating out Reiman Corp’s bid of $2,117,806.50 for the project.
The remaining $297,490 will be provided by Habitat for Humanity of Laramie County, councilmembers agreed at Monday night’s meeting.
“We will gladly take that responsibility of anything over the grant award,” said Dan Dorsch, executive director of Habitat for Humanity, at Monday’s meeting. “The land has been sitting there waiting to be developed for 10 years now, so thank you for allowing this progress to happen.”
