CANTON, N.Y. (WWTI) – The village of Canton will be receiving state funding for a new splash pad and to improve an outdoor basketball court.
The announcement was made Thursday by New York State as part of a program that supports outdoor projects.
Canton will receive around $574,000 to build a splash pad at the Bend in the River Park. The basketball court at the Buck Street Playground will also be improved as part of the project.

The funding for this program was provided by the $4.2 billion Clean Water, Clean Air and Green Jobs Environmental Bond Act.
