It was an evening of community, celebration and purpose down in Berks.
The Building Hope Gala raised some much needed funds for Hannah’s Hope Ministries.
They offer housing and support for mothers with children in and around Berks County.
Hannah’s Hope offers everything from finances to emotional well being.
Organizers with the event say planning into the gala said they really just wanted to help give back and continue helping women at Hannah’s hope.
“We had meetings, we met with several businesses, met with the team over at Hannah’s Hope and came up with this vision to be able to give back to young women who may not be in the best situation at that time – but coming out of Hannah’s Hope’s program, you know, they can reach the sky,” said Jemika Sivak, nurse practitioner, Omnia Integrative.
80 percent of Hannah’s Hope residents with children move to their own independent living each year.
