The Jamestown Water treatment facility was a topic of conversation at last week’s city council meeting.

The council passed a resolution to seek grant funding to change the chemicals used in the water treatment process, and one of the employees at the water treatment plant was recognized.

WJRS News spoke with Mayor Regena Hinton about the change in chemicals, from chlorine to bleach, and the employee recognition.
