LOWVILLE — Lewis County Legislators allocated $200,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funds for the third round of the Facade and Streetscape Improvement Program. After receiving applications for approximately $420,000 in requested project funds, ultimately, eight projects were awarded funding for a variety of downtown façade and streetscape improvements.
“These revitalization initiatives will restore vitality to our communities, showcasing their historical charm,” Ryan Piche, Lewis County manager, said. “Building on the success of projects from previous rounds, I am optimistic that these investments, coupled with our emphasis on placemaking, will yield a highly positive impact on our county.”
