‘Seattle Dances’ set to take stage, raise funds to provide permanent housing

SEATTLE — Several Western Washington celebrities will be stepping out on the dance floor for a good cause.

The 15th Seattle Dances event will take place on March 9 at the Fremont Studios. People will still have a chance to watch the livestream that evening.

Until then – people like Linda Hoffner are asking for your vote.

Hoffner was crowned Mrs. Washington in 2020, but in her everyday professional life, she is the general manager at Seattle-based Wright Runstad & Company.

Seattle Dances benefits Plymouth Housing to help the organization provide permanent supportive housing to adults who have experienced long-term homelessness.

“I once found myself on the verge of housing instability as a young single mother,” Hoffne said. “I am giving back to this important cause by being fearless and proving that anyone can make a difference when we put community first.”

Hoffner is hoping she gathers some votes before the big night. Currently, she is focused on raising money and practicing her dance steps.
