For people struggling to make ends meet in Seminole County, there could be help available if you let community services know what you need.Whether it’s help with rent, utilities or mental health assistance, the county wants to know where the need is greatest. The state sends assistance money to the county each year, and the county also has funds to meet certain needs. They want to know what’s needed so the money is allocated where it will do the most good.”We do fund food pantries, we fund child care, we fund homeless shelters, so if they can let the county know, these are the needs we have,” Carrie Longsworth from Seminole County said.
