Spartanburg, S.C> (WSPA) – It’s a gala with a twist!
One Upstate nonprofit invites you to put on your sneakers and come raise money for youth mentoring in Spartanburg County.
BRUH Mentoring which is short for Brothers Restoring Urban Hope, is holding its fourth annual Sneakerball Gala. Their mission is to restore the urban community through group mentorship, leadership training and spiritual guidance.
Executive Director Victor Durrah Jr said through mentoring services, the nonprofit desires to make personal connections that will inspire those in the urban communities to discover who they are, develop their strengths and overcome their challenges.
The Official BRUH Mentor Sneakerball Gala happens Saturday, Feb 24 from 6:30 p.m. – midnight at the Chapman Cultural Center.
There will be three DJs, a food truck and several community & city leaders who will be recognized at the event.
