The Trump administration is laying out a set of operating principles that it wants universities to agree to in exchange for preferential access to federal funds, the Wall Street Journal reports. Vanderbilt Chancellor Daniel Diermeier in a recent letter said the school was not ‘…asked to accept or reject the draft compact’ but to provide feedback and comments. Chancellor Diermeier joins Morning Joe to discuss.
