South Korea’s government is planning to invest $22,6 billion over the next five years in artificial intelligence, semiconductors and other advanced technologies. This was reported by the South Korean news agency “Yonhap”, citing the Ministry of Science and Information and Communication Technologies as its source.
The plan was the subject of a meeting held today by the Presidential Advisory Council on Science and Technology. Among the sectors of interest have also emerged those of rechargeable batteries, aerospace and ocean engineering and new generation communications.
