An education firm has made the move over the border from Wrexham to snap up the last available suite at the Chester Business Park-based office building.
Tandem Investments has let the remaining 4,500 sq ft to Tute Education which has taken a term of 11 years at a headline rent of £20/sq ft.
The online education company delivers live lessons to children and young people across key stages 1-5 and previously had a 2,500 sq ft letting in Wrexham.
Tandem acquired the 18,500 sq ft Halladale House at the turn of the year from Equinox Property for an undisclosed sum.
Mason Partners advised Tandem on the purchase, and Legat Owen and Avison Young were the letting agents. Tute represented themselves in the deal.
Chris Lloyd, director at Tandem Investments said: “We’re delighted with this letting, a great and growing business in Chester.
“The quality of the space appealed to them and this has put us firmly ahead of our business plan for the building.”
Acting on behalf of Tandem, Will Sadler from Legat Owen said: “We are pleased to announce the successful letting of a high-quality office at Halladale House on Chester Business Park.
“Tute Education has relocated from Wrexham, drawn by the exceptional, flexible space, the convenient proximity to the A55 and Chester, and the proactive, can-do approach of the landlord. With this letting, the property is now fully occupied.
“We continue to collaborate with Tandem Investments to source assets across the North West and North Wales.”
Other tenants at Halladale House include Close Brothers and CF Fertilisers UK.
