Lucky customer walks away with 3 bedroom house in AMG Bamba Nyumba campaign

NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 13 – A Kenyan living in the diaspora has walked away with a 3 bedroom house worth Sh8.5 million in Nanyuki, following the close of the Bamba Nyumba na AMG realtors promotion.

The promotion, which ran in the last quarter of 2023, sought to reward customers who bought land from AMG in their various destinations including Kiambu, Kilifi, Machakos, Kwale, Kajiado, Laikipia, Nakuru and Murang’a.

For every Sh100,000 invested in a property, whether in buying a new property or making payments on an existing one, clients received tickets into draws, where they could win weekly prizes in the form of shopping gift vouchers, monthly prizes of 50 by 100 plots in Barizi Gardens, Malindi, or the grand prize, a 3-bedroom house in Nanyuki.

“The promotion was more than just a campaign, it was a testament to our dedication to rewarding loyalty and making the dream of property ownership more exciting and attainable. We’re proud to have made property investment a rewarding journey for all our clients,” noted AMG realtors CEO Designate Martin Githinji.

Founded 11 years ago by a Kenyan entrepreneur who used to live and work in the US, the firm has been advising its customers on where they can invest, based on their needs and aspirations.

“Like a number of Kenyans in the diaspora, the founder had a terrible experience trying to buy land in Kenya while living abroad. He sought to make it convenient for Kenyans in the diaspora to invest in land back home, without any fears that they might lose their money,” noted Githinji.

While speaking during the give away, Githinji expressed the importance of remaining vigilant while making property investments, to protect ones’ hard earned money from loss, as cases of land fraud increase.

Conducting thorough due diligence can help to ensure that the land in question is legally acquired and that the titles are valid. Those living in the diaspora need to seek the services of reputable land buying companies that can protect their interests while they are away.

“As a buyer, stay vigilant and invest in the due diligence process to know the history of the land, then ensure proper procedure is followed in effecting transfer of the land to your name,” noted Githinji.
