Stamford-based Information Services Group (ISG) has agreed to buy a Milano, Italy-based advisory firm in an effort to grab more of the European market.

ISG has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Martino & Partners, which provides advisory services on strategic and organizational development, procurement and communication for private companies and public entities.

The deal, terms of which weren’t disclosed, is expected to close in early September.
ISG said the acquisition is expected to expand its client base, geographic footprint and capabilities in AI, in a market with emerging growth potential.

“Martino & Partners brings more than 20 new clients to ISG Italy, expands our public sector reach beyond the central government to serve municipal entities, and gives us a strong presence in northern Italy, where many leading commercial enterprises are located.” said ISG Chairman and CEO Michael Connors.

ISG was founded in 2006 and has more than 1,600 workers worldwide.
