Police have released surveillance images in the hopes of tracking down two men who, officials claim, robbed a Dollar General store in Cheltenham Township at gunpoint on Monday.
According to police, officers responded to a Dollar General along the unit block of West Cheltenham Avenue at about 7:15 p.m. on Monday following a report of a robbery.
During this incident, officials said, two men entered the business and demanded cash as one of the individuals produced a silver handgun.
Following the robbery, police said, the men fled the scene on foot.
Officers describe one of the men involved as having a medium build and wearing a blue surgical mask, black pants, black shoes and a blue sweatshirt with the word “sp5der” on the front, who was armed with a firearm.
The other man involved was described as having a heavy build and wearing a black surgical mask, gray hoodie with black writing on the chest, black pants and white shoes at the time the robbery occurred.
Officials warned the public that this pair should be considered armed and dangerous.
