About Chevy Trailblazer
The 2026 Chevy Trailblazer debuts the third-generation crossover’s sixth model year, bringing with it relatively minor changes and updates, including the addition of two new paint colors, which replace two other ones, and dropping the standard spare tire.

The 2026 Trailblazer gets a new Midnight Edition Package, available only on the LT trim level. Here are images of the very popular package.
Two powerplants remain available, namely the turbocharged 1.2L I3 LBP E85-compatible flex-fuel engine developing 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque as well as the turbocharged 1.3L I3 L3T gasoline engine rated at 155 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque, though it is not E85-compatible. Drivetrains include front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) across the lineup.
The 2026 Trailblazer can tow 1,000 pounds, but the trailering package is currently unavailable to order.

GM Authority has confirmed that GM is preparing to update the Chevy Trax and Trailblazer. Until then, we know that the 2027 Chevy Trailblazer will soldier on unchanged, but it’s getting a short production run. In the meantime, production of the 2026 Chevy Trailblazer is scheduled to end on October 31st.
