One Mortgage System (OMS), a mortgage CRM and loan origination platform for intermediaries and lenders, has integrated with Scroll Finance, the specialist second charge buy-to-let lender operating under Perenna Bank PLC.
The new application programming interface (API) connection allows OMS users to manage Scroll Finance applications within their existing workflow, covering the lender’s second charge buy-to-let mortgage range.
The integration enables brokers to take a case from sourcing and fact-find through to decision in principle without switching between systems. The companies said this can reduce manual data entry, improve accuracy and create a more streamlined application process for clients.
Scroll Finance has already launched its flagship second charge buy-to-let product, while Perenna is developing additional secured lending and mortgage products for future release.
The integration adds another specialist lender connection to OMS as it expands its mortgage technology ecosystem across residential, buy-to-let, second charge, equity release, bridging and commercial lending. OMS also provides tools covering product sourcing, protection sourcing and criteria searching, with its platform designed to support brokers across the mortgage and protection journey.
Dale Jannels, CEO of One Mortgage System, said, “Specialist lending continues to attract new entrants, but what will separate successful lenders from the rest is their ability to combine funding strength, product innovation and operational efficiency. Brokers increasingly expect specialist lenders to combine strong products with efficient processes that help cases progress quickly and smoothly.”
“Businesses such as Perenna have been designed to respond quickly to market opportunities and changing customer needs. As the specialist lending arena continues to evolve, closer connectivity between lenders and brokers will become increasingly important in helping firms scale efficiently while maintaining high service standards,” Jannels said.
Ashish Kashyap, deputy CEO and chief commercial officer of Perenna added, “At Perenna, we believe in a tech-first approach to mortgage lending. This includes developing better system integrations with our intermediary partners, which would drive simpler and faster lending. As such, we are delighted with our partnership with OMS. We are grateful to Dale, Neal and the OMS team for their support and hope to build on this relationship as we enter new markets in future.”
The integration reflects the growing focus on connectivity between mortgage platforms and specialist lenders as brokers look to reduce manual processes and move applications through the lending journey more efficiently.
