Salem Media has promoted two longtime executives to expanded finance and accounting leadership roles.
Autumn Marcus has been named Senior Vice President, Finance and Strategic Planning, while Monica Montijo has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Controller and Accounting. Both will report directly to CEO David Santrella.
Marcus previously served as Salem’s Senior Vice President of Finance, where she played an expanding role in financial planning and analysis. In her new position, she will oversee financial planning and work with company leadership to align financial performance with Salem’s strategic and operational priorities.
Montijo, who previously served as Salem’s Controller, has extensive experience overseeing the company’s accounting and financial reporting operations. She will take on expanded leadership responsibilities across Salem’s accounting organization.
Together, Marcus and Montijo will oversee the company’s finance and accounting teams, with a focus on providing analysis and business insights to support Salem’s operating units and strategic priorities.
“Salem is entering an important new chapter, and Autumn and Monica will be key members of the leadership team helping us shape it,” Santrella said, referencing the now privately owned media group. “They know Salem and our businesses extremely well, and I have tremendous confidence in both of them and the teams they lead.”
Santrella added that the company wants its finance and accounting teams to work more closely with operating leaders and provide insight to support business decisions. “Autumn and Monica have the experience and knowledge of Salem to do exactly that,” he said.
