At the upcoming Sept. 15 regular meeting, the Conroe ISD board of trustees will review multiple financial statements and approve new educational support systems for teachers.

CISD board members will review multiple financial reports at the upcoming meeting, as well as an amendment to the recently approved budget and an update from the audit and investment committee. As previously reported, CISD’s approved budget is set at $769.6 million, with a tax rate of $0.9471 per $100 valuation.
According to their website, the Audit and Investment Committee is a sub-committee of the CISD board that oversees district financial compliance, investments, and internal audits. Their meeting is scheduled for Sept. 9, with the Sept. 15 presentation being an update of their findings.
Other small items set to be reviewed include a report of the Fine Arts Department and approval of the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS). According to their website, the system is designed to provide timely feedback to educators so they can improve their teaching.
