What have you seen through your lens in terms of that US inbound interest to Asia?

So Julia, you hit the nail on the head. The pan-Asia theme is is alive and well. Um what the SGX group does is provided a trusted gateway for the US investor into Asian markets across a multitude of asset classes. You know, I’ve spent almost 30 years here in the US bridging the US investor and Asian markets. And what’s interesting is despite the fact that markets have globalized, most of these Asian markets still carry very high restrictions for the offshore investor. So whether it’s China or Taiwan or Korea or even some of the Southeast Asian markets like India, um it’s they’re still very challenging for a US investor to get exposure. What we do is provide a consolidated platform on our exchange. Um we are a futures exchange, okay, that offers exposure to all of these markets across equity indices, FX, commodities and interest rates.

And so what has changed in that, I mean, you said you’ve been doing this for 30 years. What’s the biggest change that you have seen? Has there been more volume coming from the US or what are some of the other changes you’ve seen?

For sure. So what’s interesting is, you know, 24/7 is a big thematic in global markets. Our futures exchange has been operating 23 hours a day, five days a week for two decades. Um and so what we do is offer a consolidated platform that allows that investor working this daylight, our markets are open. If you need to hedge risk across any of these markets from Japan down to Singapore across equity and FX or commodities or rates, we’re open. And here’s what’s happened, right? We we know the AI thematic is alive and well, you’ve been talking about it all morning. Um obviously that hits a market like Taiwan and Korea, right? We have the largest offshore Taiwanese Index Futures contract. We have uh futures linked to the Korean won. So those who need to risk manage 24/7 around this new cycle seek out our our venue to do that.
