Brent nears $108 after 6% surge as Middle East tensions fuel supply fears
Brent crude extended its rally after fighting between Yemen-based Houthi militants and Saudi-backed forces intensified, raising fears of deeper supply disruptions as hostilities escalated across the Middle East.
The global benchmark traded near $108 a barrel after surging more than 6% in the previous session, putting futures on track for their biggest weekly gain since July. West Texas Intermediate was around $103. – Agencies
